Munich's trade fair authority set new records
in 2001 |

Headquartered in MS Riem, Messe München GmbH set in 2000 new marks for turnover (EURO 173.8 million, + 7% over 1999), number of exhibitors (33,417, +5%) and visitors (2,12 million, +5%). The group of which the city's trade fair authority forms part also established new best marks (EURO 235.2 million, +21%) for revenues. |

And even better results are in store for 2001. Based on the results recorded during the year's first six months, the authority, whose fairgrounds are also located in MS Riem, is predicting that its group will increase its turnover by a further 8%. |
