(June 14, 2005) In June and July 2006, the world will come to Munich
to watch the games of the Football World Cup.
On July 27-29, 2005, the world will come to Munich, to ascertain
where football as a whole is going, to determine how the sport and
society, business and medicine will impact upon and interact with
each other in the years to come.
The ascertaining will be done at "Visions of Football",
the blockbuster conference being staged by the state government
of Bavaria, the municipality of Munich and FIFA, international football's
global governing body. Expected to attract more than 1,000 top athletes,
businesspersons, scientists, officials and experts, the event will
be held in Munich's ICM international congress center and at the
newly-built AllianzArena stadium. The congress will be accompanied
by a range of events and exhibitions.
