(October 12, 2002) Work has been launched on Messestadt Riem's
religious center. The facility will house Catholic and Protestant
churches (seating 250 and 100 people respectively), meeting rooms,
living quarters, a majestic, 38 meter-high bell tower and a gracious
square.
To be completed by May, 2005, the Euro 19.5 million center was
designed by Florian Nagler. The Munich-based architect was the winner
of an international competition.
