Angela Dorrer stages a Personal Event

Born in 1969 and based in Munich, the artist Angela Dorrer will organize a PE (“personal event”) for one of MS Riem’s inhabitants.

The candidate of her choice will get to plan and experience his or her perfect day by selecting two of five modules of activity:

1. Entertainment—movies, exhibitions, concerts

2. Gastronomy—favorite foods

3. Ambience—a special place

4. Something new—an activity never before undertaken by the participant

5. A blast from the past—a trip down memory lane. These will then be carried out with the facilitation of the artist herself, and with the help of a suitcase filled with all materials necessary for the day’s staging and chronicling.

Already staged by the artist in a number of other venues, these lead to networking and other forms of community-building.
