(October 16, 2004) Messestadt Riem’s culture center is now open for business. In a ceremony staged this evening, Christian Ude, Munich’s mayor, officially commissioned the center, which is located on the third floor of the Riem Arcades mall.

Comprising 972 square meters of utilizable space, the center features three auditoriums. They will be the venues for the events, exhibitions, parties and meetings staged for and by community residents and associations, which will also get to use the center's office spaces.
