(June 30, 2005) Elisabeth Eggle loves flowers. Her passion led her to travel all the way from Ulm to Messestadt Riem, some 120 kilometers away. The trip was worth it. Munich's Messestadt Riem is the venue of BUGA2005 – Germany's National Garden Festival. Ms. Eggle departed from BUGA toting some flowers of her own. The flowers were given to her by Christian Ude, Munich's mayor.

The reason for the bouquet: Ms. Eggle was the one millionth visitor to the event, which is being staged in Munich's Messestadt Riem district, and which will run until October 9th.
