(April 29, 2007) This year's bauma was the largest trade fair ever
held in the world. Its 540,000 square meters (2004: 500,000 square
meters) at Munich's Trade Fair Center were taken up by more than
3,000 exhibitors. Their stands and displays of construction and
mining vehicles, equipment and supplies were visited by some 500,000
people, up 20% from the last installment of the fair in 2004. The
rush to attend the fair caused Munich Airport to record on April
26, 2007, its busiest day in history.
The next bauma will be held from April 19-25, 2010 at Munich's Trade
Fair Center.
