(August 18 , 2002) Riem Arcades is rising rapidly. After only ten
months of construction, the first floor of the Euro 450 million
mall, located in the MS Riem district and to be the second largest
in Munich, is nearing completion. The structures already completed
feature 5,500 cubic meters of concrete and 1,000 tons of steel.
These figures are increasing at a daily rate of 400 cubic meters
of concrete and 50 tons of steel.
The fast pace of construction puts the complex, owned by the Hamburg-based

für Immobilien AG) on schedule to be completed by autumn, 2003.
