One of the largest of its kind in the world, Germany's National Garden Festival will be held in Messestadt Riem in 2005.

Building and reinforcing of retaining and encircling walls, planting of large-sized trees

March - October, 2003
Planting of the 'Powers of Ten' gardens

March - June, 2003
Planting of the 'Parallel Gardens'

May, 2003 - May, 2004
Setting up of the People Mover

May, 2003 - September, 2004
Planting of the 'Theme Gardens'

September, 2003 - December, 2004
Planting of the Landscape of Leaves, to be situated near venue's eastern entrance

April, 2005
Commissioning of arena and of flower halls

April 28, 2005
